I am a Renewable Resources Biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I am broadly interested in the processes that form and limit where species are distributed. I use an integrative approach to examine historical ecology, community assembly, biogeography, biodiversity patterns, the effects of climate change on communities, and extinction. My goal is to help bridge the divide between ecological theory and on-the-ground conservation to make the best possible decisions for both today and the future.
