Jacy is an Applied Conservation Scientist with Bird Conservancy of the Rockies where he works to evaluate the effectiveness of conservation practices for birds in working landscapes, and to better connect research and management through technical transfer and science integration. Jacy's primary research interests include avian demographics across multiple life-history stages and phases of the full annual cycle, the natural history and conservation of grassland birds, understanding the climate-change ecology of birds, and supporting the adoption of climate adaptation practices in wildlife management, investigating the wildlife impacts and mitigation of anthropogenic development, and understanding effects of agricultural practices, and neonicotinoid compounds on birds.
